MAX-PLANCK-INSTITUTE LEIPZIG
ROAD SHOW 2008
The MPI MIS (Max-Planck-Institute for mathematics in the sciences) presented its new discoveries and findings to the public:
Interactive exhibits were used to convey complex information in a pleasant manner. The information was concerning backgrounds and applications of various subjects, such as morphing, shape-memory alloys, and the „möbius strip“-phenomenon; as part of the cooperation with BMW, the topic of „mathematics as a high-technology in vehicles“ was added.
We were asked to design four interactive exhibits for a multi-year travelling exhibition by Multitask, who had developed the concept.
